Through the Skills for Changemakers Germany programme we connect, support, and amplify the impact of 12 changemakers with existing and proven innovative solutions for pressing societal and environmental issues.
Skills for Changemakers
Through a light-touch application process we identified 12 representatives of social ventures from across Germany, which are at a crucial point in their evolution and would benefit from customised support.
We help them to develop their changemaking capacity by connecting them to tailored support, knowledge and resources.
We facilitate the development of deep bonds and solidarity across the group, connecting changemakers to one another at an in-person meet-up in Berlin. We also connect the changemakers with skilled professionals from SAP and the wider ecosystem.

How we support the changemakers
Needs Assessment
We create a detailed needs assessments of each of the changemakers and their ventures, including personal areas of development such as their state of wellbeing, leadership competence and knowledge gaps, as well as needs of their ventures such as legal support, fundraising and team management.
Capacity Building
We create a customized capacity building plan (‘tailored support’) for each of the changemakers, including (but not limited to) the following opportunities:
– Personal coaching from high-quality leadership coaches within
the ChangemakerXchange network
– Wellbeing Tools and Exercises
– Helping them build compelling fundraising pitches
– Strategy Workshops
– Legal Support
– Advocacy Support
– A Systems Change Crash Course
– Mental Health First Aid
– Tech Support.
>>> This also includes a €500 contribution the changemakers can spend flexibly on the kind of support they deem most relevant.
Meet-Up
We then invite all the changemakers to an all paid trip to Berlin on the 27th of June to come together in person and connect with the other changemakers, as well as senior professionals from SAP who will share their insights and expertise with the group. The workshop will be followed by a networking event with the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Germany.
