for the Planet
at COP30

Youth representation at events like COP30 is essential. Taking place in Belém, Brazil, at the heart of the Amazon, this year’s conference marks a decade since the Paris Agreement and a shift from promises to real action. The agenda focuses on adaptation, resilience, nature-based solutions and a just transition, all of which directly impact the lives and futures of young people. With their creativity, courage and lived experience, youth can connect local realities to global solutions and drive meaningful progress.

Through Changemakers for the Planet we search, identify, and recruit young changemakers, activists and leaders, who tackle climate change, biodiversity loss, air, sea and land pollution.

We provide COP30 accreditation badges to seven members and create opportunities for our community to connect with one another throughout the conference.

We offer financial support to four members hosting events at COP30, helping them bring their initiatives and perspectives to global spaces.

We spotlight our members’ stories and experiences across platforms, sharing their on-the-ground insights and impact with a wider audience.

At the heart of ChangemakerXchange is a vibrant close-knit community of over 1,500 changemakers from 130 countries working on a vast range of issues. See below the ChangemakerXchange members who we will be supporting and participating at COP30.

Ismaela co-founded and leads Uno Punto Cinco, an NGO focused on climate adaptation and resilience with a particular emphasis on water resilience and ocean protection across Latin America.

Keshoe is empowering Indigenous communities to address climate change through The New Lion Project. He is combining traditional knowledge with grassroots action, research, and storytelling to strengthen climate advocacy and impact.

Manal is strengthening youth participation in climate action through the UNCCD Youth Caucus. She is advancing youth engagement in public policy and decision-making to help shape more inclusive climate solutions.

Neeshad is inspiring collective climate action through the Arab Youth Climate Movement Qatar. He is empowering young people to reawaken ecological consciousness and build a more sustainable future.

Nicole is amplifying youth and intergenerational voices through Solastalgia, a community initiative exploring climate justice and eco-emotions. She is using zines and arts-based events to create space for honest conversations about eco-anxiety and collective action.

Oliver is strengthening trust in environmental markets through Balance Eco by transforming carbon credits into biodiversity-enhancing Balance Units. He is also inspiring more people to take meaningful action for nature and the climate.

Pooja is the Founder and Executive Director of Youth Climate Collaborative, delivering programmes across access, ecosystem building, digital innovation, intergenerational governance and green jobs. She also leads Jaali, an AI-based platform connecting changemakers and resource providers to report impact.

Renata is advancing gender equality in climate policy through EmpoderaClima, a youth-led initiative bridging knowledge gaps with a multilingual database. She is advocating for more intersectional and intergenerational representation in climate decision-making.

Richard is empowering young people through agribusiness with Young Emerging Farmers. He is promoting sustainable farming and entrepreneurship to build resilient livelihoods across Sub-Saharan Africa.
