Changemakers

at LCAW 2026

Why London Climate Action Week (LCAW) 2026

LCAW is the world’s largest independent climate week and one of the few spaces where transition finance, litigation, corporate accountability and city-level delivery all happen at the same time. 2026 is a particularly significant moment, with a visible shift of major delegations and announcements towards London. The week is increasingly regarded as a place where things actually get done rather than just announced. This delegation is part of our broader Changemakers for the Planet programme, through which we have supported more than 300 young environmental leaders and supported young changemakers at COP28, COP29, COP30, COP16 Biodiversity and New York Climate Week.

The 2026 Cohort

This year’s delegation includes people working on some of the most pressing issues in the climate space right now: the implementation of the ICJ climate ruling, loss and damage funding for frontline communities, youth participation in national climate plans, gender-just climate finance, unconditional cash transfers for climate defenders, the youth statement to the COP presidency, and more. 15 young leaders from across Europe, Africa, Latin America, MENA, Asia and North America, all arriving in London with specific goals to move forward.

Each delegate gets a personalised plan built around their specific goals, direct introductions to the people and organisations that matter for their work, and active support to make their work visible to the right audiences during the week.
